Privacy policy

This policy explains how Smart Infratech, Inc. (“Smart Infratech”, “we”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit smartinfratech.com or contact us (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. It covers the SmartCompose.ai and SmartManage.ai pages on this site (the smartcompose.ai and smartmanage.ai addresses forward here) and their founding partner applications. TerrainPulse has its own site and policy at terrainpulse.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you email us, call us, use the contact form or apply to a founding partner program, we receive what you choose to share: usually your name, company, work email, phone number and message, and for applications your role, firm type and size, and the product areas you care about. Forms on this site send what you enter to our team by email through Microsoft 365; the website itself does not keep a copy.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time). We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, how you arrived, and actions such as clicking a button or link. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to do this.
2. How we use information
- To reply to you and discuss the work or products you asked about
- To understand which pages and content are useful, and improve the site
- To keep the site secure and detect abuse
- To meet legal obligations
We send marketing email only to people who have contacted us or asked to hear from us, and you can opt out at any time.
3. Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart and measure use; it does not tell us who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the site does not load Google Analytics.
4. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that run the Service for us: Microsoft (website hosting and email) and Google (analytics), under their own data protection terms
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public, including to prevent fraud
- With a buyer or successor if our business is reorganized or sold, under this policy
5. Retention and security
We keep correspondence as long as needed to work with you and to meet legal and record-keeping duties. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, but no system is completely secure.
6. Your rights and choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct, update or delete it, or to stop using it for a purpose. Email hello@smartinfratech.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
7. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), you may request access to or deletion of your personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email hello@smartinfratech.com.
8. Visitors from the European Union and United Kingdom
Where the GDPR or UK data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests to reply to inquiries and keep the site secure, and on your consent for analytics where consent is required. You may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, and complain to your local data protection authority. Email hello@smartinfratech.com to exercise these rights.
9. International users
We are based in the United States, and the Service is hosted in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
We link to other sites, such as terrainpulse.com, Wingtra and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, give notice on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
